Store and Delivery information
To order, just click the "Add to Cart" button of the title(s) you want.
You can now select the country for delivery and your preferred delivery method. For delivery purposes the United Kingdom includes England, Scotland, Wales, northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle Of Man.
When you have all the items you want in your basket and have chosen your delivery method, click the "Checkout" button.
All payments are processed by a secure server hosted by Paypal. If you have a Paypal account already then you may log in to this to make your payment (PLEASE ENSURE YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS DETAILS ARE UP TO DATE).
Alternatively you may click the "Checkout As Guest" button and Paypal will securely process your credit or debit card details to complete payment. Please ensure you enter your delivery address details accurately.
On completion of your order you will receive a confirmation email - please check it carefully and email us immediately (at email@example.com) if anything is wrong with your order or the shipping details.
Our delivery charges are calculated according to the weight of the items ordered, the packaging required and the mailing charges. Sometimes shipping costs may appear high, but please appreciate that items such as heavyweight vinyl is heavy and that there are weight limits we have to abide by.
On placing an item/items in your shopping cart and specifying your country of delivery you can see the various delivery charges available to your order, depending on your postal preference.
For some large orders that exceed our standard maximum delivery rates you may either split your order into two or more smaller orders or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can advise you on the shipping cost.
Deliveries within the United Kingdom will be sent by recorded delivery if you select the "Insured delivery" option.
Customers outside the United Kingdom can also choose to insure their order at the checkout page and if you have any concerns about the postal services in your area we suggest you choose insured delivery. We will then use the best Royal Mail service available for your country. This will be Royal Mail Tracked and Signed if it is available for your country, but where it is not available we will use either Royal Mail Tracked or Royal Mail Signed, according to which is available and which is most secure for the country of delivery.
We will only be able to provide tracking numbers to customers who have chosen and paid for insurance. However, please be aware, that unlike some other countries the UK does not have a reference number for every package.
We will endeavour to dispatch all orders for delivery within 48 hours.
Typical delivery times according to Royal Mail’s estimates:-
United Kingdom 1st class: 1-2 working days
United Kingdom 2nd class: 2-3 working days
Europe: 3-7 working days
Rest of the World: 7 working days+
We send UK deliveries by Royal Mail standard post.
We send overseas orders by Royal Mail Airmail. There are weight restrictions so heavy orders may be split into 2 or more packages. Royal Mail pass packages on to your local national postal service for delivery.
If you did not pay for postal insurance we cannot provide a tracking number. Unlike some other countries the UK does not have a reference number for every package.
If an order is returned to us marked "unclaimed", "refused", "unknown" or "insufficient address" we reserve the right to charge to re-ship the order to you.
If you haven’t received your "insured delivery" order after 7 working days and you paid for insurance, please contact us for a tracking number that you can take to your local post office.
If your "standard delivery" order hasn't arrived 28 days after we posted it, please email email@example.com.
If your order is for an item which is not yet officially released (ie a pre-order) then your order will not be dispatched until the release date.
If your order includes a mixture of available stock and an item which is not yet officially released (ie a pre-order) then your entire order will be held back for delivery in one package for delivery on, or very close to, the release date. If you would prefer to receive the available items straight away then please make two separate orders.
All orders are charged at the time the order is placed.
My local currency prices
When you checkout on Paypal you have the option to pay in your local currency and the amount will be displayed when you checkout. All our prices are displayed on the website in British Pounds but if you would like a rough idea of what this would convert to in your own local currency we recommend using www.xe.com to convert from British Pounds (GBP) into your own currency.
For vinyl and CD orders we use purpose made strong cardboard mailers. However, despite our best efforts, sometimes items will arrive damaged. We are always happy to replace paper parts or discs that are broken or torn. If this rare occurrence happens with part of your order please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a small JPG image of the damaged article for our records (no files over 1MB). In some instances we will ask you to return it to us but please don't do this until you have had a reply letting you know what we're doing about it.
For environmental reasons we cannot post a standard jewel case if it arrives with a crack in it - these are readily available in many stores for pennies.
Magick Eye Records Limited are a VAT registered company and have to charge 20% VAT (Value Added Tax) on any items shipped to the European Community. If you live outside of this area, you will not see VAT charges. Please note that you may, however, be liable for import duties - these vary from country to country and are your responsibility. Where appropriate we will include Royal Mail’s custom declaration sticker on your order package.
